March 23, 2020
As you may know, my team and I have been closely monitoring the developments with COVID-19. My utmost concern will always be the safety of my staff and customers. It is important that we all do our part navigating safely through this crisis. Recently, Governor Beshear decided to close other non-essential businesses, which further emphasized the severity of this crisis.
Based on this decision and the many orders before it, I have made the decision to restrict access to our facility, effective Tuesday March 24. We will have both our drive-thru and walk-up facilities operating on a normal basis to handle most of your transactions. My staff will continue to take extra care in frequently disinfecting pneumatic canisters and other customer contact areas within the bank.
For more complex transactions such as loan closings, access to safe deposit boxes, opening new accounts, trust services, etc., you can call us at 270-692-2113 to schedule an in-person appointment to our main facility.
Remember, there are many ways to conduct routine transactions which include online banking, mobile banking, night depository and you can always call the bank with any questions about your accounts.
Also, please remember that our banking system is very strong and that banks like us are the SAFEST place keep money. No depositor since 1933 has ever lost even a penny of FDIC insured funds!
And finally, I want you to know that Citizens National Bank has been with this community for generations and that includes many tough times and we remain fully ready to partner with you to get through this worrisome time.
